I've been experimenting with CSS instead of frames but wasn't happening as quick as I wanted so reverted to using frames for the moment

If I continue to struggle I'll take you up on that offer

Cheers

Just posting to say the revisions to the website look great. Love the background and the new layout. Well done to all concerned. :)

Hiya,

For those who don't often get time to browse the forums and have been looking at the same picture of the day for the last month, you might want to put the warning about bookmarks on the old website!! Oh, and I like the new site...

Or the webmaster could set up a 301 redirect to the new index page. That would also keep the search engine rankings accumulated over the years.

Stuart, they certainly are. What a cracking set of chaps and chapettes, every one of them.

Having just caught my lass browsing the old version of the site too, I've realised that there may be an issue here- anyone bookmarked to the old site who doesn't use the forum and who isn't on the mailing list isn't going to know about the new version of the site- Al, can you maybe get into the old site somehow to put something up in place of the POTD to redirect folk? Or make the old site address redirect to the new one perhaps? :?

And perhaps I ought to too... but what's it still doing there in the first place? It's redundant. Why isn't it on the new address if it really must remain and the new website on the original address where people know where to find it? How many hundreds of people must be wondering if we've fallen asleep? Can we have it fixed please?
